School got out and then it rained almost every day for three weeks here.

The sun finally came up this week in L.A.—in late June. It feels like summer might happen, after all.

If you were wondering why I haven’t posted to Substack in a couple weeks or so, it’s because no one told me that becoming an internet nanocelebrity with a new book to promote would be this exhausting. I’m Doing the Work, people. I feel like the old cop in every 80s movie. “I’m getting too old for this sh*t.”

But here I go again—another appearance on Fox News last week, a few podcasts tomorrow, yesterday I got to hang out with my new best pal Dennis Prager in his studio.

Is it summer yet?

Meanwhile, I wrote about my attendance at the Dodgers drag queen counter-protest.

[Johnny Cash voice] "Were you there, Lord, when they pole-danced on my Lord?”

At least I can sleep at night now knowing that five poor miserable men aren’t slowly dying of terror and carbon dioxide poisoning fathoms under the sea. RIP.

UPDATE — Here’s what’s in the works around Peachy HQ:

A New Arts Movement

Many have been asking: why does art and entertainment suck so bad? Why do people on the right not know how to make good art, or is it that the woke institutions reject them? Is it the MacArthur “Genius” Grants going out to every horrid phony who wields a paint brush?

Is it lack of talent on the right, or the lack of visionary donors?

I can’t really answer that, but, yeah, it’s the lack of visionary donors. Or should I say, lack of vision and maybe courage among a certain donor class on the right. After all, why seed real talent when there are some losing gubernatorial campaigns to write checks to? I keep trying to remind people: what ails us most acutely does not have a political solution.

Meanwhile, everyone wants to rebuild the arts on the right, as

Isaac Simpson
eloquently tweeted about.

Good news: I have a plan to do just this. Move over Genius Grant — here comes the St. Genesius Grant.

St. Genesius is the patron saint of the arts, actors, and playwrights. You should know about him:

Genesius was an actor in the third century. He was performing on the stage in front of Diocletian (an emperor known for hating Christians) in Rome. He was portraying a catechumen that was about to be baptized in the play, which was satirizing the sacrament. During the ceremony, it was said that he suddenly converted to Christianity.

He declared this to the Emperor and with rage, Diocletian turned him over to the Plautian and they tortured him, trying to force his sacrifice to the pagan Gods. Genesius clung to his Christian faith and when they realized they would not be able to change his mind, he was beheaded.

He memed himself into becoming a Christian live on stage! In his name, the Genesius Grant, like the hideous MacArthur “Genius” Grant, will give worthies a sum of monies to help them pursue their creative projects. A New Podcast

Two superbly based queens and I are starting a new podcast. Inez Stepman and Aimee Terese and I are going to cross the streams and do an intercontinental pod bursting with feminine wiles. Brace yourself! Pod of the Valkyries rides to glory soon!

A New Book

Have you read my new book, Domestic Extremist? If you have, please leave a review!

So far it’s on a streak with all 5-star reviews. America has spoken!

36 of these ratings are not from my mother, I promise.

Now I need to start thinking about a NEW book idea. Some other area of our ret*arded society I can mine for jokes, and maybe come up with solutions for. Or, I might be called to write (trigger word), fiction. Don’t worry—not litfic, which I am awful at. Something fun. Maybe a based YA adventure series. We’ll see.

TV Pilot

Fix comedy? Why yes, I will. To that end, we decided to put our TV pilot script back on Amazon, this time also available on Kindle. We sold over 450 copies of it last year! If you read it, please feel free to leave a review!

Extremely Domestic Merch

I was supposed to make some merch a while ago, but got too busy, you know, selling this darn book. I am just about to finalize some simple items. Like who doesn’t need an Extremely Domestic mug? I know I do.

More soon!
