Peachy- I had AV nodal reentry tach too!! For like 20 years. And it happened during my last 3 pregnancies. ( 5 kids). The cardiologist tried several medications over the years but I would have “breakthrough episodes” like you describe. And the experience of adenosine is EXACLY as you describe. It wasn’t until my

Last baby was in high school and I still

Had these (usually at night) breakthroughs that my doctor asked me to try and get to the hospital ( 30 min away) while happening so they could see the EKG. I was driving on the freeway between Oceanside and Escondido after dropping off my girl at swim practice and BINGO - my heartbeat jumped to 200+bpm. I drove myself to the emergency room. Walked in - a completely full waiting room. I walked up to the desk and informed the staff I was having a 200+ heart beat and just as you experienced I got a “ front of the line pass”. They finally got the readings they were looking for- diagnosed the AVNRC… scheduled the cardiac ablation. And I’ve been 20 years back to a normal rhythm. Thanks be to God for our access to modern medicine. And God bless your precious little boy and all your family

Quite the story. Amazing they would do all that with the little guy still inside. We had a tiny preemie as our 4th, and that was scary enough. Happy Birthday to your son!

So glad you and your boy are hale and hearty. As a father and grandfather (3 sons, 2 daughters, plus 2 bonus daughters and 1.5 grandsons), I really felt and celebrate your story!

As both a Mrs. P and a Terminator fan, that was fantabulous. I now have to ask my retired cardiovascular surgeon father in law about these drugs. Glad you made it and happy birthday.
