Trust me, the haters are just jealous. A large and functional family and so many pockets of love for all your future. PLUS a career. I am are sure there have been many hard days, challenges, sleeplessness and times of self doubt. But , gurl!, you actually managed to have it all! Being husbosexual is a large part of that. And people hate admitting they might need another person to help their dreams come true.

Both aged 31, my wife said no more birth control. Six beautiful kids followed. Best decision of our lives. So grateful to discover that fertility is a gift, not a curse, before it was too late for us.

Firstly, re the comments your neighbors made about your prolific baby making - they sound like FBI agents, lol. Second, the Chinese endeavor (and are) to win a war without firing a shot. Accordingly, I've theorized(nothing published) for some time that the Leftists will eventually just die out due to the myriad reasons (none based in reality) they're not having kids. It's like a progressive version of the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs. Culture war won. Thirdly, you knocked this speech out of the park! Was a pleasure to read.

Great speech. We need to get kids out of public grade/high schools, find ways to continue to take the luster off of state/elite colleges and provide more options like Benedictine and St. Thomas Aquinas, and the like. Keep up the stellar work, Peachy!

I LOVE this! And completely concur that it's the "normies" who react strongest. But, being from the Midwest, it's not reacting in disgust but sadness. When I tell them how many children we have it often sparks unsolicited confessions: "I wanted to have more, but...xyz..." This will even come from women in their childbearing years, but most of the time it's from women past that time in their life. The two biggest reasons I've gotten for why they don't have more are: A) husband does not want any more (often due to material considerations) or B) difficulty in making childcare arrangements for littles and the inconvenience of having to do that in and around work schedules.

People are still shocked at the size of our family, and that we make it work with one person earning income, but I have a husband who has been willing to work 2 jobs to make it happen and forgo material wants for the sake of the family. (Sorry, hon, I do hope you get that truck someday!) We have also had more children than actual vacations in the last two decades, but they were a better investment anyway. And that's what I tell young couples: have the babies now! Do it first! The rest of the stuff will be there later, but even if it's not, you'll still have your family.

Wonderful speech, and looks like you're at the 2024 conference also - Congrats! I just discovered the Natal Conference, so I wrote a man's perspective on the movement and the blessings of children.
